The Reconnecting Jackson Ward Steering Committee plays an important role in the study’s community visioning process.
Numerous community members have stepped forward to serve on the Reconnect Jackson Ward Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee represents all people and all areas of Jackson Ward, including Gilpin Court: current residents, family descendants, businesses, faith leaders and other organizations. Committee members serve as project ambassadors as the Study Team seeks to engage and empower the community in Community Visioning.
Their feedback, guidance and insight will help to ensure an equitable and community-driven study process to meet the goals of the Reconnect Jackson Ward Feasibility Study.
