SEE RECOMMENDED DESIGN FRAMEWORK TO RECONNECT JACKSON WARD!

The Reconnect Jackson Ward Feasibility Study team unveiled a recommended design framework to help “reconnect” Jackson Ward and surrounding neighborhoods, while meeting the ideals of inclusion, unification, access to everyone and keeping Black history alive.

This was based on feedback from hundreds of community members who have shared what they most want in a connection over Interstate 95/64, which has divided Jackson Ward since the 1950s.

Community members were encouraged to attend, learn about the project, share feedback, and hear about next steps in making this “reconnection” a reality.
